Most afforestation projects are too large for forest owners to get involved in the actual process of planting the trees. The NTA (Native Tree Area) scheme, has a maximum of one hectare is an ideal scheme to allow forest owners to take part in the tree planting process. This size is manageable for a small number of people, about four to six would be ideal, to plant the trees themselves. I would encourage any forest owner to take part in planting trees on a small-scale afforestation scheme. There is so much joy in watching a tree grow that you have planted. I hope the tree planting tutorial video will offer an insight on how to plant a native tree correctly.
