Many forests in Ireland were severely damaged by Storm Éowyn in the early hours of Friday 24^th January, 2025. Both the financial and emotional impact from the loss will be felt for many years to come. Forest owner, Peter Farrelly, spoke to us about the damage to his mixed forest and the potential costly clean-up operation. Peter gives an insight into how he intends to manage his forest going forward given the high risk of future severe storms.
